DIRECT PROVIDER BILLING

A clinic, laboratory, pharmacy or other healthcare provider may bill the patient directly.

Financial sponsorship does not automatically give a sponsor access to a patient’s private clinical information.

Any future sponsor reporting should follow authorization, privacy, minimum-necessary principles, contractual requirements and applicable law.
